Blue Rock Caravans Awnings.

Blue Rock Caravans all incorporate roof mounted awnings, they are designed that way so as to allow maximum width inside the van rather than waste that space incorporating an awning hanging on the external wall. This awning nestles in the radiused edge of the vans and is little higher than the middle of the roof and much lower than the air con and solar panels. The mounting of an awning on the roof is made possible because of the factory installed strong truss roof which is further strengthened to accommodate the awning mounts. The resulting  design then allows the awnings to cover the slide out room on sunny days reducing the ingress of heat by courtesy of the sun. An Awning can be fitted to either side or both sides and extends 3 metres.

The standard awning on a Blue Rock caravan is a  modified Aluxor system.

Thule Omnistor 9200 manual and or electric with remote

control and full LED lighting, and a 3 meter projection is also available.

Our standard awning is a legless Aluxor Olympus with a

3 meter projection, full walk under with no support arms

to the van or ground.

This awning has a motion/wind sensor that automatically

retracts the awning when the wind exceeds a pre set speed,

this is a first on an Australian Delivered Caravan.
